We are currently looking for part time Customer Service Agents to join us for the summer season!
We are a small, locally owned and operated dispensary with a curated menu and a dedication to making every customer feel welcomed regardless of their background with cannabis. We are currently hiring for seasonal, summer positions, but there could be an opportunity to stay on part time through the off season if we agree it is the right fit. Shifts vary, but at least some evening availability (2-8pm) is required.
Responsibilities:
– Assist customers by answering questions, explaining available options and guiding them toward the products that will best meet their needs.
– Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
– Verify customer age & validity of identification prior to entrance
– Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
– Maintain stock levels and ensure merchandise is properly displayed/organized
– Perform general administrative tasks as needed
Skills:
– Excellent communication skills
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
– Ability to meet customers where they are at – listen and guide them based on their experience and needs
– Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling cash transactions
– Ability to quickly memorize our menu & product information and effectively communicate it to customers as relevant
– Cannabis knowledge is appreciated but not required
