Plover Fest 2026

Plover Fest is The Piping Plover’s annual summer kick-off party, celebrating our anniversary, our community, vendors, patrons, and everything in between that makes The Piping Plover. It is, of course, an homage to Wellfleet’s Great and Powerful OysterFest. We celebrate by inviting local artisans and cannabis vendors to pop up in our front lot, accompanied by food and entertainment throughout the day. Yes, there’s some weed too!

The Piping Plover is truly a community project and Plover Fest is one of our favorite times to gather together in celebration! Founded in 2018 by lifelong resident Emily Letendre and her husband Zachary Ment, The Piping Plover was created to offer a welcoming and judgement-free environment to explore all that cannabis has to offer. From the building design & construction to the vendors we feature on our menu, the focus has and will always be supporting small, local businesses – providing jobs, opportunities, and a space to learn from one another.

Year after year, we have been so fortunate to be able to continue to grow and develop a simple small-business into so much more. We are honored to be Wellfleet’s flagship locally owned and operated cannabis dispensary and we could not do it without you! Thank you!
